Between 2009 and 2011 he worked as Manager of Strategic Management for the Sustainability Guaranty Fund of the ANSES (Argentine Integrated Social Security System) – the largest investment fund in Latin America and the major institutional investor in Argentina. He designed and structured the whole organizational and operational framework for the operation of such Fund, and managed the State’s holdings in the major private sector companies of the country.

During 2008-2009, as a Manager, he was in charge of liaising the financial system and the capital market with the Superintendency of Pension Funds, and Head of the Instruments for Sustainable Development Office. In the period 2006-2007 he was Head of Cabinet of the Secretariat of Finance of the Nation and later Deputy Secretary of Financial Services in the Ministry of Economy.

Between 2002 and 2006, during Dr. Roberto Lavagna’s mandate as Minister of Economy, he worked as Analyst for the Secretariat of Finance of the Nation, which carried out the largest public debt restructuring in the world’s history. Between 2000 and 2002 he was Director at Banco BICE.

Before that, between 1994 and 2002, he worked as Head of the Financial Operations Desk and Portfolio Manager in the financial, bank and corporate sectors.

He is Permanent Professor of various financial subjects in Master programs. Currently, he serves as Treasurer of the Latin American Jewish Congress, which groups all Jewish communities in the region and represents them before governments and international organizations. He provides investment advice to the management of Pension Funds Since 2011, he manages JACOB – a firm specialized in economic-financial consulting.
